As an event security officer, you will patrol, monitor access points, conduct screenings, respond to incidents, and coordinate with police and medical teams. The position is part-time with pay at $17 per hour and offers flexible scheduling and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old and eligible to work in the U.S.
• Valid Texas Private Security License Level 2 or higher
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred
• Background in event security or related fields advantageous
• Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods
• Strong observation, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Background check and drug screening required

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible, professional presence at events per client and BEST standards
• Patrol assigned areas to deter unauthorized activity and ensure safety
• Monitor access points, conduct bag checks, and perform screenings
• Respond promptly to incidents including medical emergencies
• Collaborate with staff, law enforcement, and emergency services
• Provide customer service by assisting attendees and giving directions
• Report security incidents to supervisors and document observations
• Uphold company policies and security guidelines at all times
