BEST Crowd Management is seeking an Event Security Guard at Moody Center in Austin, TX. The role focuses on maintaining a secure environment for attendees, staff, and property during events.

As a part-time position, the guard will patrol, screen, and respond to incidents while providing courteous customer service. This role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and able to pass background checks.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
• Experience in event security or related field advantageous.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and stay fit for shifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible, professional security presence per client and BEST standards.
• Patrol assigned areas to deter unauthorized activity and protect attendees.
• Monitor access points, conduct bag checks, and screen entries as needed.
• Respond promptly to incidents, disturbances, or medical emergencies.
• Coordinate with staff, law enforcement, and emergency services when required.
• Assist attendees with directions and information to enhance their experience.
• Document security occurrences and report to supervisors with accuracy.
• Follow company policies and uphold high standards of professionalism.
