Job description

Sterling Grove Golf and Country Club is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of Esthetician. Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service to the clubs managed by Troon.

Key Responsibilities of the Esthetician:

1. Greets visitors to the salon in a prompt, courteous manner.
2. Administers client’s health history and release form to all new clients.
3. Discusses client’s needs, expectations, and past experiences with receiving skin care services.
4. Provides educated explanations of procedures to be performed on the client.
5. Administers various skin treatments including but not limited to: facials, waxing, hydro pack, exfoliating, massage, and paraffin treatments.
6. Applies cosmetics.
7. Offers suggestions for overall health and maintenance of the results from their visit.
8. Maintains current knowledge of state-of-the-art aesthetic procedures and performs these procedures.
9. Operates salon computer accurately and books all appointments for salon staff when scheduled and during the absence of the receptionist.
10. Answers incoming phone calls promptly and courteously when scheduled and during the absence of the receptionist.
11. Maintains a professional, service-oriented demeanor.
12. Maintains flexibility to take on new and different tasks as directed by the Department Manager.
13. Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.

Minimum Qualifications for the Aesthetician:

• Certificate from college, technical school, or accredited facility; and three to six months of related experience and/or training.
• Current State Aesthetician license and other credible certificates. CPR and First Aid Certification.

Other Qualifications:

• Ability to read and speak English may be required to perform the duties of the job (e.g., communication with English-speaking customers or co-workers, and manuals for equipment in English).
