Park Lawn Corporation in Kansas City, MO seeks an experienced Embalmer to prepare and present the deceased with utmost dignity for families and guests. You will embalm, dress, apply cosmetics, and ensure precise paperwork while mentoring Apprentice Embalmers.

Five years licensed experience and a valid state license are required; Funeral Director’s License is preferred. Proficiency with MS Office and a strong service orientation are essential.

Qualifications

• Licensed Embalmer with 5+ years of experience.
• Valid state Embalmer License; reciprocity across states.
• Funeral Director’s License preferred.
• Driver’s license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and embalms the deceased for interment, cremation, or other disposition.
• Safely utilizes embalming instruments and machinery per guidelines.
• Dresses, applies cosmetics, and performs casketing duties.
• Prepares deceased for transportation as needed.
• Assists client families and handles paperwork accurately.
• Oversees Apprentice Embalmers on cases and paperwork.
• Detail-oriented, thorough, and professional in all tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.
