Job summary

Delaware Elevator Inc. is seeking an experienced Elevator Mechanic to join our field operations across the Eastern Seaboard, including NC. This on-site role requires a license or ability to obtain one, plus strong problem-solving and customer-facing skills.

You will install, service, and modernize elevator systems, work in a team, and participate in an on-call rotation with travel expectations. Competitive compensation and full benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must hold an elevator mechanic license or be able to obtain one within 6 months.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the trade.
• Completion of a 4-year federally approved apprenticeship is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install and upgrade elevator systems from construction to final inspections.
• Repair, maintain and test equipment including mechanical and electronic components.
• Analyze information and resolve complex problems.
• Interact professionally with customers, general contractors and owners.
