Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Proven experience in a field inspection role is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.
• Comprehensive understanding of the NJ Uniform Construction Code (UCC).
• Valid New Jersey Elevator License is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or Engineering is preferred.
• Certification in safety inspection or related area is a plus.
• Experience with risk assessment and hazard analysis is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of job sites to assess compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Document inspection findings and prepare detailed reports outlining violations or areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with site managers and staff to develop corrective action plans based on inspection results.
• Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure inspections are thorough and accurate.
• Provide training and guidance to employees on safety protocols and compliance measures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
