Salary Range: $72,000.00 To $90,000.00 Annually

About the Role:

The Field Inspector plays a crucial role in ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards across various sites. Municipal Inspection Corporation is seeking a highly qualified New Jersey Licensed Elevator Inspector to join our team. Full or Part Time positions are available in the Code & Construction Depart for Elevator Inspectors. This position involves conducting thorough inspections of facilities, equipment, and processes to identify any potential hazards or violations. The Field Inspector will be responsible for documenting findings and providing actionable recommendations to improve safety and operational efficiency. In this role, you will be responsible for performing technical inspections and witnessing tests to ensure strict adherence to the New Jersey Uniform Construction Code (UCC) standard for New Jersey, enforcing subcode regulations. Performing inspections for new and existing installations within the South Jersey Areas. By collaborating with various stakeholders, the inspector will help foster a culture of safety and compliance within the organization. Ultimately, the goal of this role is to protect the well-being of employees and the public while ensuring that all operations meet regulatory requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a field inspection role or related position.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.
• Comprehensive understanding of the NJ Uniform Construction Code (UCC)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or Engineering.
• Certification in safety inspection or a related area.
• Experience with risk assessment and hazard analysis.
