Qualifications

• Experience with rooftop and/or ground-mount solar strongly preferred
• Must have your own basic electrical hand tools
• Reliable transportation
• Willingness to travel throughout Illinois
• Travel to projects across Illinois as needed

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installations on commercial solar projects
• Work on rooftop and ground-mount/community solar systems
• Install and bend conduit
• Pull and terminate wire
• Install electrical equipment, panels, disconnects, and related components
• Read electrical drawings, layouts, and project specifications
• Troubleshoot electrical systems as needed
• Follow NEC, OSHA, and site-specific safety requirements
• Travel to projects throughout Illinois as needed

Location: Buffalo Grove, IL
Base Pay: $40-$45/hour
Prevailing Wage: Approximately 95% of projects are prevailing wage
Travel Per Diem: Typically $125-$175/day when applicable

Skilled Trades Partners (STP) is hiring Licensed Journeyman Electricians with commercial solar experience for projects based out of the Buffalo Grove, IL area and throughout Illinois.
