Job summary

Mentor Technical Group is seeking a qualified Electrician to assemble, install, test and maintain electrical systems at our sites in Puerto Rico. The role requires maintaining equipment to code and safe operation within GMP environments.

The candidate will troubleshoot PLCs, program VFDs, and use meters and testing devices to ensure safety and performance. A Technical College Electrician Degree and Puerto Rico license are required, with readiness for overtime as needed.

Qualifications

Technical College Electrician Degree is required.
Certified/Licensed Electrician by the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
Experience with electrical wiring, testing and maintenance.

Responsibilities

Assemble, install, test and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment and appliances.
Maintain electrical equipment to meet state and federal codes.
Troubleshoot PLCs and perform VFD programming where required.
Test circuits with ohmmeters, voltmeters and oscilloscopes for safety and compatibility.
Work in hot, cold, dirty, fast-paced environments and follow GMP practices.
