Job summary

Mentor Technical Group is seeking a skilled Electrician in Puerto Rico to install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures. You will ensure compliance with relevant codes and safety standards, and demonstrate proficiency with shop tools and testing equipment.

The role requires a Puerto Rico electrical license, the ability to work from ladders and rooftops, and capability to troubleshoot PLCs and program VFDs. Overtime and emergency calls may be required.

Qualifications

• Electrician degree or equivalent with certification in Puerto Rico.
• Ability to install, maintain and repair electrical wiring and fixtures.
• Ability to work from ladders, scaffolds and roofs safely.
• Familiar with testing devices to ensure electrical system safety.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
• Maintain electrical equipment to meet state and federal codes.
• Demonstrate safe use of shop tools (hand and power).
• Show mechanical knowledge and proficiency in programming VFDs.
• Troubleshoot PLCs and ensure system safety.
• Work overtime as needed including weekends/holidays.
