Qualifications

• Valid electrical license with ability to pull permits in Oak Park and surrounding municipalities.
• Familiarity with Chicago area permitting processes (Oak Park, River Forest, Berwyn, Cicero, Chicago, etc.).
• Strong understanding of residential electrical code compliance.
• Professional communication skills and reliability.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Pull electrical permits for residential and light commercial projects in Oak Park and nearby jurisdictions
• Coordinate with village/city building departments to ensure timely permit approval
• Maintain accurate records of permit applications, approvals, and inspections
• Communicate with office staff regarding permit status, scheduling, and required documentation
• Occasionally perform site visits for permit related verification or inspection readiness
