Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is hiring a licensed Electrician to inspect, repair, and maintain electrical systems in assigned facilities in the Richmond area. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot components, and ensure safety standards are met daily.

This role requires a valid electrician license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. A formal apprenticeship is preferred, and a valid driver's license is required for site access.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 3-4 years of job-related experience.
• Completion of a formal apprenticeship program preferred.
• Must hold a valid Electrician license as required by local electrical codes.
• Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation, repair, and maintenance of electrical and lighting systems.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and replace components such as motors, controls, switches, wiring, and pipes.
• Safely work with electrical systems up to 480 volts.
• Review maintenance records to develop proactive inspection and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Deliver efficient and reliable service to internal and external customers.
• Communicate complex information clearly in straightforward situations.
