Responsibilities

• Calculate electrical requirements for equipment and systems.
• Install conduit, conductors, boxes, switches, and lighting; replace ballasts.
• Repair motors, pumps, and electrical components of HVAC equipment.
• Test safety equipment and emergency lighting.
• Inspect installations for code compliance and safety.
• Use testing equipment like ohmmeters and megger.
• Perform preventive maintenance and keep maintenance logs.
• Respond to emergency call-backs and assist other staff.
