This role is for a licensed electrician responsible for all power of electrically driven equipment, maintaining all substations, distribution & control panels, and control devices (i.e., sensors, actuators) used on equipment. The role involves working with outside electrical contractors regarding building & equipment power and control devices. This position will report to the Maintenance Department.
Must be able to read, write, and understand English. Ability to interpret electrical schematics, relay and ladder logic schematics or code, blueprints, manuals, and diagrams. Understanding of Massachusetts State Electrical Code.
MA state electrical license, 3-5 years of building and industrial manufacturing electrical experience, high school diploma or GED, or related experience/training. Equivalent combinations are acceptable.
Exposure to potential electrical shock, fumes or airborne particles, confined spaces, and physical demands such as standing, walking, crouching, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
