Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join our team! You will be responsible for the installation, testing, upgrading, troubleshooting, and repairing of energy-efficient lighting fixtures, existing fixtures, lights, and electrical equipment in commercial and industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, upgrade, and repair electrical machinery, equipment, and circuitry in industrial and/or commercial environments.
• Operate and work safely from bucket trucks, scissor lifts, boom lifts, ladders, scaffolds, and rooftops to maintain, repair, or upgrade electrical wiring, bulbs, ballasts, and fixtures.
• Assist with layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures based on job specifications and local codes.
• Follow blueprints to determine the location of wiring or equipment and ensure conformance to building and safety codes.
• Install conduit, pipes, or tubing and pull insulated wires or cables through the conduit to complete circuits between boxes.
• Diagnose or troubleshoot electrical or machine malfunctions.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of documented industrial or commercial electrician experience.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in all-weather conditions, such as digging trenches or lifting objects up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable transportation to the company site.
• Willingness to travel out of town weekly, Monday-Friday, occasionally on weekends.
• Good communication skills.
• Punctuality and reliability to work scheduled hours and project duration.
• DOT Certification (must be obtained within 45 days if not already certified).
• This position requires weekly on-site visits to our Dayton, OH location. It is a hybrid role.
