Job summary

NYCOA in Manchester, NH is hiring a Licensed Electrician to support its manufacturing facility. The role involves troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing industrial electrical equipment up to 480 volts, with a Monday–Friday day shift from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Overtime is available, and a $39.50 per hour wage plus a $4,500 sign-on bonus. Candidates need a NH electrical license (or equivalent), a high school diploma, and the ability to read blueprints.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current New Hampshire electrical license or another qualifying electrical license accepted by NYCOA.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical equipment.
• Ability to read electrical drawings, schematics, and diagrams.
• Ability to safely work with electrical systems up to 480 volts.
• Ability to wear a respirator and required PPE.
• Basic computer skills, including email and Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to work overtime when needed.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, inspect, maintain, and repair industrial electrical equipment and systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance to reduce equipment downtime.
• Work safely with electrical systems operating at voltages up to 480 volts.
• Repair and upgrade plant lighting.
• Calibrate plant instruments, detectors, and sensors.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and diagrams.
• Complete electrical repairs and installations in accordance with the National Electrical Code.
• Maintain electrical parts, tools, and inventory.
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures and all required safety practices.
• Assist the plant’s mechanical maintenance team when needed.
• Identify electrical problems and complete repairs with minimal supervision.

$39.50 per hour | $4,500 Sign-On Bonus | Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. | Overtime Available

This is a full-time, first-shift opportunity for a licensed electrician who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, solving problems, and keeping an industrial facility operating safely and efficiently.

What You Will Do

What We Are Looking For

Preferred:

• Five or more years of electrical experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment

Physical Requirements:

This position requires regular standing, walking, climbing stairs, bending, kneeling, squatting, reaching, and fine-motor work. Employees must also be able to lift and carry up to 55 pounds.
