Job summary

Air Tech of Katy is hiring a self-motivated electrician to perform electrical installations, maintenance, and inspections in residential settings. You’ll work from blueprints, adhere to codes, and prioritize customer service while maintaining safety protocols.

A valid license and background check are required; a Journeyman license is preferred. Compensation ranges from $60,000 to $120,000 annually with full benefits, and a company vehicle is provided.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of residential electrical experience.
• Journeyman Electrician preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass MVR & background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installations according to blueprints, codes, and safety standards.
• Conduct routine maintenance and repair of electrical components and systems.
• Inspect electrical systems to identify hazards, defects, or non-compliance with regulations.
• Adhere to safety protocols and PPE requirements and promote a culture of safety.

What you will do:

• Perform electrical installations according to blueprints, electrical codes, and safety standards
• Conduct routine maintenance and repair of electrical components and systems
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, or non-compliance with regulations.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with electrical codes and regulations
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents, injuries, and property damage. Promote a culture of safety among team members and adhere to personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
• Prioritize customer service and satisfaction
• Attend periodic company or manufacturer training
• Participate in safety training and adhere to all safety policies and procedures
• Consistently work with and handle at least 50 lbs

Who you are:

• Journeyman Electrician (preferred)
• Hard-working, willing to learn
• Valid driver's license, able to pass MVR & background check
• 1+ years of residential electrical experience
• Great communicator with a strong customer service focus
• Generator experience a plus but not required
