Job summary

OHM Advisors seeks an experienced licensed Electrical Engineer in Michigan to lead commercial facility designs. You will manage lighting, power distribution, fire alarms, and IT systems across project phases, collaborating with project teams and contractors to deliver high-quality results.

Requirements include a PE license in Michigan and 10+ years of electrical design experience for commercial buildings, with proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and related software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• PE license in Michigan.
• 10+ years of electrical design experience for commercial buildings.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with AGI, EasyPower or SKM preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel for local and regional projects.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project teams, clients, and contractors on project-related matters.
• Utilize Bluebeam Studio, Excel, MasterSpec, and MS Word for documentation.
• Ensure quality assurance throughout all project phases.
• Manage projects from preliminary engineering to final design, construction documents, and field inspection.
