Job summary

Tailwind Pediatric Dentistry is seeking a Licensed Dental Assistant to provide pediatric dental care across our Wayzata and Richfield locations. The role runs Monday–Thursday, 7:30 am–4:00 pm, with a fun, fast-paced team environment and opportunities to grow while delivering exceptional patient care.

The team is looking for someone with an active Minnesota Dental Assistant License, strong communication, and a collaborative spirit dedicated to patient wellbeing and comfort.

Qualifications

• Active Minnesota Dental Assistant License.
• Excellent communication with patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Present the patient to the doctor.
• Clean the patient’s teeth.
• Fluoride application.
• Take, expose and develop digital radiographs (bitewings, panoramic).
• Assist the dentist during treatment procedures in office or hospital.
• Review schedule to ensure appointments are scheduled appropriately.
• Set-up and tear down dental chairs and operatory rooms.
• Discuss treatment plans with parents.
• Clean and sterilize instruments.
• Lab work.
• Restock supplies in rooms and sterilization area.
• Help decorate office for birthdays and holidays.
• Infection control & maintenance of OSHA guidelines.
