DC Pearls Dental Boutique in Washington, DC is looking for a talented and experienced Licensed Dental Assistant to join our growing practice. You will work closely with our dental team to deliver exceptional patient care in a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities include chairside assistance, radiographs, instrument sterilization, patient records, and educating patients on care. We offer a flexible schedule and benefits such as health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.

Formación

• Active Dental Assistant license in DC required.
• 5+ years of dental office experience preferred.
• Proficiency in dental radiography and X-ray certification.
• Familiarity with Eaglesoft and EHR systems.
• Knowledge of infection control and OSHA standards.
• Strong communication and patient-first approach.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the dentist chairside during restorative, cosmetic, and preventive treatments.
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and operatory rooms between patient visits.
• Take and develop dental X-rays (radiographs) as directed.
• Record patient medical histories, treatment notes, and updates in the dental software system.
• Educate patients on post-treatment care and proper oral hygiene practices.
• Manage inventory, order dental supplies, and maintain equipment.
• Provide exceptional patient care and ensure a welcoming experience from check-in to checkout.
