DC PEARLS DENTAL BOUTIQUE is looking for a talented and dedicated and experienced Licensed Dental Assistant to join our growing practice in Washington, DC! Qualifications

• Active Dental Assistant license in Washington, DC is required.
• 5+ years experience in a dental office or clinical setting preferred.
• Proficiency in dental radiography and X-ray certification.
• Familiarity with EagleSoft EHR software.
• Strong knowledge of infection control, sterilization, and OSHA standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist chairside during a variety of dental procedures including restorative, cosmetic, and preventive treatments.
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and operatory rooms between patient visits.
• Take and develop dental X-rays (radiographs) as directed.
• Record patient medical histories, treatment notes, and updates in the dental software system.
• Educate patients on post-treatment care and proper oral hygiene practices.
• Manage inventory, order dental supplies, and maintain equipment.
• Provide exceptional patient care and ensure a comfortable, welcoming experience from check-in to checkout.
