BATZ AND WEINER LAKE DENTAL CO in Laurel, Maryland is seeking a qualified and caring Registered Dental Assistant to join our team. You will provide top-notch dental care and assistance to the dentist during exams and procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be state-licensed as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA).
• Minimum of two years of experience as a dental assistant.
• Current Basic Life Support/CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable.
• Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer any questions.
• Take vital signs and accurately record medical history.
• Prep sterilized equipment for the dentist.
• Assist dentist during procedures and exams.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and office policies.
• Schedule appointments.

Skills

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Strong computer and data entry skills

Ability to provide high-quality patient care

Education

Associate’s Degree from a school certified by the Commission on Dental Accreditation

Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) state licensure

Current Basic Life Support/CPR certification
