Job summary
The Dental Specialists Edina Oral Surgery is seeking a compassionate, skilled Licensed Dental Assistant to join our growing specialty practices across Minnesota and Wisconsin. You will assist specialists, prepare rooms and radiographs, educate patients, and maintain thorough records in a patient-centered, team-oriented environment.
Starting wage range is $30.50–$34.65 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package, paid time off, 401(k), health savings, and ongoing CE opportunities to advance
Qualifications
- Current Minnesota Dental Assistant License.
- Certification to apply dental sealants, gingival cord displacement, and monitor nitrous oxide.
- Current CPR certification from a recognized provider.
Responsibilities
- Assist specialists during various specialty dental procedures.
- Prepare and organize treatment rooms, instruments, and materials.
- Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays).
- Support patient comfort before, during, and after treatment.
- Educate patients on treatment plans and post-operative care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
- Follow infection prevention and sterilization protocols.
- Collaborate with specialists and team members to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Help support efficient clinical workflows.
