Job summary

Native American Community Clinic is seeking a Licensed Dental Assistant to join our Minneapolis clinic. The position is full-time and involves supervising clinical assistants while performing all duties of a licensed dental assistant to support efficient patient flow.

Responsibilities include assisting the dentist and hygienist, preparing operatory, managing supplies, radiographs, and infection control per clinic policies and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Education and/or experience: AA degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certificates, licenses and registrations required: Licensed Dental Assistant in Minnesota. COVID-19 vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with Dental Manager to ensure patient flow is appropriate for clinic efficiency.
• Oversees and manages inventory and supplies; places orders.
• Exposes radiographs in accordance with state regulations and protocol.
• Serves as chair side assistant for dentist, ADT, and Hygienist.
• Maintains operatory and instrument sterility per policy and protocol.
