Qualifications

• Equivalent to high school diploma or GED with mandated state training courses.
• State-mandated licenses/certifications (e.g., radiograph exposure) may be required.
• Associate degree or 1-year certificate from an accredited college/technical school; or equivalent education/experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist to gain patient commitment for the best possible treatment with urgency.
• Support the Perfect Patient Experience by addressing patient needs and concerns.
• Maintain a clean, sterile environment and prepare patients for treatment; assist doctors to deliver quality care.
• Under dentist direction, perform x-rays and intra-oral photos as appropriate.
• Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care.
