Dental Assistant Job Responsibilities

• Assist in dental offices, orthodontic practices, and surgery centers during patient care, cleanings, and oral surgeries
• Educate patients about procedures and oral care, schedule appointments, and manage x-rays and scans
• Set up exam tables, assist during procedures, and handle dental instruments
• Manage administrative tasks like scheduling, inventory, and billing
• Ensure patient comfort and provide information on treatment and wellness
• Work with various dental and medical software systems

Job Requirements

• Possess an active dental assistant certificate, radiology certificate, or license number issued in Indiana
• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
