Metro Dentalcare in Apple Valley, MN is looking for a licensed Dental Assistant to join our team. We offer a $2500 sign-on bonus for licensed dental assistants.

Role Responsibilities

1. Greet and welcome patients, ensuring their comfort and providing education throughout their treatment.
2. Review patient health histories to ensure quality care.
3. Take and process x-rays and other diagnostics (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography, etc.).
4. Assist dentists chairside during procedures, following state dental practice laws.
5. Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
6. Prepare treatment rooms adhering to safety protocols and OSHA & CDC guidelines.
7. Manage supplies and inventory, including placing orders.
8. Collaborate with team members to implement systems and improve workflow.

About Metro Dentalcare

Join a collaborative team of 12 in a community-focused practice. The pay range is $29-$36/hour, with a schedule that includes Monday through Thursday, and off on Fridays. The role offers a $2500 sign-on bonus for licensed dental assistants.

Minimum Qualifications

• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
• Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification as required by state law.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• MN dental assisting license (or in process).
• HIPAA training and PHI protection.

Preferred Experience

• 1+ years of dental experience.
• Experience with Dentrix or similar software.
• Dental assisting certification and restorative functions certification.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties with or without accommodations.
• Prolonged sitting and standing.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds.
• Availability for periodic training sessions.
• TB test required prior to employment, except in FL & TN.
