Licensed Customer Service Representative
Join AAA The Auto Club Group as a Member Representative II or Licensed Customer Service Representative to promote ACG products and services, enhance customer satisfaction, and generate revenue through member awareness initiatives.
Job Summary
Provide high‑level support to members, servicing insurance policies, processing applications and renewals, offering travel and membership products, and assisting with cashiering and administrative tasks. Engage with customers as the face of the branch, conduct outbound promotional calls, and participate in office events that drive sales and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a high level of support services to members related to the sales and service function including servicing insurance policies, processing applications, renewals and amendments, and selling travel, tours, airline tickets and membership products.
- Generate leads, update members on travel and insurance specials, and provide travel information.
- Provide cashiering services to members including taking insurance payments (initial, installment, lapse or reinstatement), travel and membership payments, sale of tickets and travel money products, processing remittance/depository transfers, and balancing cash drawer.
- Respond to customer inquiries and refer to an agent when appropriate.
- Provide a high level of administrative support to Travel and Insurance Agents during peak periods.
- Assist with customer sales processing activities and support management in the basic training of less‑senior personnel.
- Conduct outbound promotional calls for insurance and/or travel products.
- Participate in a team environment to promote customer satisfaction and consistent service following the customer service model.
- Receive and resolve member/customer complaints and seek assistance from management as necessary.
- Participate in office events developed to generate revenue, improve member awareness of products, and support local community activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive hourly wage of $23.00 - $25.50, based on experience, with additional incentives and an annual bonus potential based on performance. Comprehensive benefits package includes:

Required Qualifications
- Active State Property & Casualty License or ability to attain within 90 days of start date.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Providing a high‑level customer‑focused service.
- Servicing insurance policies and processing applications, renewals and amendments, and taking payments.
- Responding to billing and coverage questions.
- Promoting sale of insurance products and/or travel and membership products.
- Outbound promotional calls for insurance and/or travel.
- Proficient with computer software applications (Word, Excel, etc.) and Web‑based operations.
- Knowledge of insurance and travel terminology, regulations, underwriting procedures, sales regulatory and compliance guidelines, and relevant systems (e.g., Focal Point, Viewpoint, ITT, AXIS, PPS, POS, IMS, IPM).
- Effective verbal and written communication with others in a work environment.
- Accurate mathematical calculations for monetary transactions.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Exceed member expectations regarding professionalism, efficient and effective customer service (phone or in‑person) and maintenance of workstation and office facility.
- Work irregular hours including holidays and weekends (may include community events).
- Work under pressure in a high‑volume, fast‑paced customer service environment.
Work Environment
This is an in‑office position. Employees serve ACG members in‑person and are based on site in an ACG branch facility.
