Qualifications

Education, Licensing, and Experience Requirements
  • MSW, PsyD, or PhD in behavioral health OR M.A./M.S. in behavioral health with clinical practice emphasis from an accredited program (COAMFTE, CACREP, or CORE)
  • Active license in MI (LLMSW, LLC, LLP, LLMFT, LMSW, LPC, LMFT, or Temporary Educational Limited License for Psychologists)
  • Minimum 1 year of direct experience in Behavioral Health or Social Services

Primary Responsibilities
  • Maintain a private, HIPAA-compliant workspace at home for focus and confidentiality.
  • Engage with individuals experiencing emotional distress, providing support and resources.
  • Build rapport and foster engagement during calls.
  • Assess and mitigate risk, documenting interactions thoroughly.
  • Assist callers in identifying coping strategies and developing safety plans.
  • Intervene during emergencies as needed.
  • Remain professional, focused, and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Training and Schedule

New employees undergo a paid six-week virtual training to develop crisis care skills, with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM PST. After training, you will begin your regular schedule, developed in partnership with our scheduling team.
