Job Overview

Location: Windham Community Memorial, Windham, CT

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 3:00pm - 11:30pm. No weekends or holidays.

As a Licensed Behavioral Health Clinician, you will work with interdisciplinary teams to provide evidence-based clinical services in an Emergency Department setting. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, providing crisis intervention, care coordination, and discharge planning, along with maintaining proper documentation and contributing to patient experience improvements. You will also supervise second-year social work students.

Qualifications
  • Current CT license (LCSW, LMFT, or LPC), with LCSW preferred
  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy
  • Minimum two years’ experience in a psychiatric or crisis setting; four years preferred
  • Effective communication skills; bilingual in Spanish preferred
  • Cultural competence and awareness of health disparities
