Location: START: Creative Arts Therapy Services, PLLC – West Islip, NY (In-Person) & Remote (Virtual)

Position Type: Independent Contractor (Flexible Schedule)

Client Population: Children, Adolescents, and Adults

START: Creative Arts Therapy Services, PLLC is seeking a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT) to join our team in West Islip, NY, providing in-person therapy for children, adolescents, and adults. We are also open to candidates interested in working exclusively virtual, allowing for flexibility in building a caseload that suits your availability and preferred clientele.

Position Details:

• Seeking an LCAT available to see 15-20 clients per week
• Preference for candidates available for evening and weekend sessions for children and adolescents
• Flexible scheduling with morning, afternoon, evening, and/or weekend availability
• In-person sessions available at our West Islip location
• Virtual therapy options available for those who prefer remote work
• Opportunity to work with children, adolescents, and adults based on preference

Ideal Candidate:

• Licensed Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT) in New York State
• Experience and passion for working with children, adolescents, and/or adults
• Comfortable providing evening and weekend sessions for children and adolescents
• Ability to provide individual therapy using creative arts interventions
• Comfortable working independently while being part of a collaborative team
• Strong skills in engagement, communication, and trauma-informed care

Scheduling & Space Availability:

We offer flexible scheduling with access to private therapy rooms and a group space for in-person sessions. Available hours include:

• Weekdays: Morning, afternoon, and/or evening options
• Weekends: Morning, afternoon, and/or evening options
• Group Room & Individual Therapy Rooms available for in-person sessions
• Virtual therapy options available for candidates preferring remote work
