Job summary

Jewish Family Service Association of Cleveland is seeking a full-time Counselor/Therapist to provide individual and group therapy, including new client intakes and diagnostic assessments, as part of our cognitive enhancement therapy team.

The role requires a Master’s degree in social work, counseling, nursing, or psychology and current LISW or equivalent license valid in Ohio, along with five years of clinical experience, including supervisory work.

Qualifications

• Five years or more of clinical work experience, at least two of which are in a supervisory capacity.
• Master’s degree in social work, counseling, nursing or psychology required.
• Current LISW or other relevant independent licensures valid in Ohio.
• Maintain valid Ohio Driver’s License and driving record as per agency standards.

Responsibilities

• Supports the clinical needs of individuals served through the Achieving Potential Department.
• Represents the Agency with partner agencies and funders to enhance client services.
• Assists in developing community initiatives to address unmet needs of specialized populations.
• Provides assessment and behavioral health services and meets productivity standards via appropriate billing.
• Documents services in the client’s record in compliance with regulations and requirements.
• Coordinates family meetings and provides necessary clinical support as appropriate.
