Qualifications

• Current Louisiana license to practice as a Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC) or a Provisional Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (PLMFT) plus two years of licensed counseling experience.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the treatment team decisions and helps formulate therapeutic activities.
• Leads counseling groups for individuals with substance use disorders.
• May conduct peer reviews to refine outpatient substance use services.
• Manages caseloads of clients diagnosed with substance abuse issues.
