Job summary

PS Salon & Spa is seeking a licensed cosmetologist to serve our senior clients in a Senior Living environment. This part-time role requires 2 days a week (Wed & Thur or Tue & Sat) with reliable transportation and an active license in the state.

You will perform haircuts, styling, coloring, manicures and pedicures, engage clients, upsell services, keep a clean workspace, and support social media promotion. Benefits include paid training, built-in clientele, W-2 employment, and PayActiv options.

Qualifications

• Valid active cosmetology license in this state.
• Experience with seniors and dementia desirable.
• Strong guest services skills and ability to build rapport with clients.

Schedule & Requirements

• Valid active Cosmetology in this state
• Reliable transportation
• Proof of Identity

Duties

• Provide a wide range of cosmetology services which may include, but not limited to: haircuts, styling, coloring, perms, manicures, pedicures and roller sets.
• Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide personalized recommendations.
• Upsell products and services to enhance client experience and satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Manage social media accounts to promote services, share client transformations, and engage with the community.
• Deliver outstanding hospitality to ensure a welcoming environment for all guests.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Cosmetologist
• Strong skills in guest services with an emphasis on building rapport with clients.
• Familiarity with senior living environment, clients who have Alzheimer’s, dementia and/or special needs desirable.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
