Job summary

Madison Reed is seeking Licensed Colorists for our California Hair Color Bar. You will provide color services, consultations, and related styling while delivering exceptional guest care and helping guests choose the best products and color.

Compensation includes base hourly pay, commissions, and tips, with earnings ranging from $43 to $45 per hour based on performance and tenure. The role requires active cosmetology licensure, 1+ year colorist experience, and the ability to work peak times.

Qualifications

• Active cosmetology license in the state you are applying.
• 1+ year of experience as a colorist behind the chair in a salon.
• Excellent communication and people skills in a fast-paced retail or salon environment.
• Fluency in English

Responsibilities

• Provide consultations and all services on the menu to 100% guest satisfaction.
• Deliver services including shampooing, styling, and all chemical services to high quality standards.
• Assist guests in product and color selection, maintain on-time bookings.
• Contribute to achieving monthly sales goals and KPIs (retail, services, memberships).
• Maintain cleanliness, merchandising, inventory, and asset security of the Hair Color Bar.
• Adhere to Madison Reed systems, policies, and procedures.
• Support training of Assistant Colorists through coaching.
• Grow with ongoing product training and service offerings.
