Job summary

Starbucks is seeking a Licensed Coffeehouse Operations Specialist Sr. to help licensees open, operate, and grow Starbucks coffeehouses. You’ll act as advisor, align teams, and ensure standards are met across the licensed portfolio.

The role blends training, business acumen, operational excellence, project leadership, and relationship management to drive performance and lasting impact. Travel up to 90% and variable hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Strong business and financial acumen, with the ability to leverage data, insights, and sound judgment to drive operational and business results.
• Exceptional consulting, relationship-building, and communication skills, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
• Strong project management, planning, and prioritization capabilities, with a proven ability to manage multiple initiatives and drive execution in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to travel up to 90%, domestic and international travel, and work variable hours, including nights and weekends.
• Three (3) years of retail, restaurant, hospitality, or quick-service restaurant operations management experience.
• Two (2) years of operational training, facilitation, coaching, consulting, or learning and development experience.
• Experience leading or supporting cross-functional operational initiatives, new store openings, or business projects and initiatives.
• Experience using operational and business performance metrics to identify opportunities and improve results.
• Experience managing cross-functional stakeholders and driving alignment across competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead new store opening readiness by planning, coordinating, and executing operational strategies that enable successful launches and exceptional customer experiences.
• Serve as a trusted business partner to licensees, leveraging operational expertise, performance insights, and strategic consultation to drive sustainable business results.
• Lead cross-functional projects and initiatives by aligning stakeholders, managing priorities, mitigating risks, and delivering outcomes that support organizational objectives.
• Strengthen operational capability and continuous improvement through coaching, training, process optimization, and the development of scalable solutions that advance business performance.
