Job summary

Virginia Home Care Services, Inc. is seeking licensed CNAs to provide compassionate in-home care to clients across Alexandria and surrounding Northern Virginia communities.

Ideal candidates hold an active CNA license in Virginia, have 1–2 years of caregiving experience, and possess reliable transportation to travel to client homes. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred, and applicants must demonstrate strong communication and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Active CNA license in Virginia (Required)
• 1–2 years of professional caregiving or clinical experience (REQUIRED)
• Current CPR/First Aid certification (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality personal care services to clients per individualized care plans
• Assist with ADLs (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, mobility)
• Monitor and report changes in client condition to supervising nurse or care team
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided
• Ensure a safe, clean, and supportive environment for clients
• Follow state regulations, company policies, and infection control protocols
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
