Job summary

GateHouseTreatment in Nashua, NH is seeking an experienced addiction treatment clinician to provide individual, group, and family counseling to clients with substance use disorder and/or co-occurring mental health disorders. The role includes completing level-of-care assessments and collaborating with the treatment team to ensure treatment goals are met.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Addiction Studies, or a related behavioral health field.
• Current New Hampshire professional licensure such as LADC/MLADC, LICSW, LCMHC, or comparable clinical license.
• Experience with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.
• Ability to establish therapeutic relationships within clinical boundaries.
• Strong clinical documentation, verbal, and written communication.
• Proficiency with electronic health records and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Complete biopsychosocial assessments to determine level of care.
• Facilitate daily groups focused on substance use and mental health.
• Provide individual counseling for clients on your caseload.
• Facilitate family counseling sessions.
• Complete clinical documentation within 24 hours.
• Participate in daily team meetings and weekly supervision.
• Report to the Clinical Director for emergencies and concerns.
• Develop treatment plans and reviews for clients.
• Participate in the family program and other required duties.
