Job summary

Optum is seeking a Licensed Clinical Therapist to join our Ambler, PA team. You’ll screen and treat patients with evidence-based methods, maintain EMR documentation, and collaborate within a multidisciplinary network to provide high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related counseling field.
• Active, unrestricted license (LCSW, LMFT, or LPC) in the state of practice.
• 2+ years of professional experience post-master's degree providing behavioral health services.
• Experience delivering direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families.
• Experience working with computers for professional communication and medical documentation - Excel, Outlook, Athena RMS (or other EHRs)

Responsibilities

• Screen and assess patients for common mental health and substance abuse disorders.
• Provide treatment for mental health conditions using cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and other evidence-based methods.
• Systematically track treatment response and monitor patients for changes in clinical symptoms and treatment side effects.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records and clinical documentation, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with marketing to create a professional provider profile that informs patients about your experience, specialties, and treatment approach.
