Job summary

UnitedHealth Group's Optum Behavioral Care seeks a Licensed Clinical Therapist to join our Blue Bell, PA team. You will deliver evidence-based psychotherapy with clinical autonomy within a nationally recognized health system.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, social work, or related counseling field.
• Clear, active and unrestricted license (LCSW, LMFT, or LPC) in the state of practice.
• 2+ years of professional post-master's experience providing behavioral health services.
• Experience providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families.
• Experience working with computers for professional communication and medical documentation - Excel, Outlook, Athena RMS (or other EHRs)
• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Screen and assess patients for mental health and substance use disorders.
• Provide treatment with evidence-based approaches like CBT and DBT.
• Track treatment response and monitor symptoms and side effects.
• Maintain EMR and clinical documentation per regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with marketing to create provider profiles.
