Job summary

San Diego Youth Services seeks a Licensed Clinical Supervisor in the Quality Management department to oversee clinical services for youth with co‑occurring disorders. This full‑time exempt role reports to the Quality Management Manager in San Diego.

The position requires a Master’s degree in a related field, California clinical licensure (LCSW/MFT/LPCC), and at least two years post‑licensure experience. Strong supervisory and trauma‑informed practice are essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, MFT or Psychology required.
• California Clinical license (LCSW, MFT or LPCC) required.
• Minimum of two years post‑licensure experience.
• Willing to complete AAMFT Approved Supervision courses and work toward being an Approved Supervisor.
• Bilingual preferred; experience with diverse communities advantageous.
• Criminal clearance: Child Abuse Index Check; valid driver's license and vehicle registration.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and evaluate an integrated treatment approach for youth and families with co‑occurring disorders.
• Provide weekly individual and group clinical supervision to staff, trainees, and volunteers.
• Coordinate clinical oversight, training, and quality assurance across programs.
• Maintain documentation standards in EHRs and support audits and county meetings.
• Collaborate with program managers, supervisors, and external partners to ensure quality services.
