A leading healthcare organization is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specialized in Women's Health. The role includes providing essential social work services in both inpatient and outpatient settings, ensuring holistic care and support for patients and their families. Under general supervision, and in addition to performing the full range of operational level duties, responsible for administering licensed social service program or relevant work. Provides licensed social work services consisting of discharge planning, continuing care services and clinical social work services, including crisis intervention, mandated reporting, information and referral, coordination of health and mental health services with community providers. The clinical social worker is responsible for education and advocacy of patients, families and/or significant others. Participates in related department functions, such as community and program education. Complete patient assessments within two days of admission, completes weekly and discharge progress notes, and has the ability to case find. Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSA Master's degree in social work from an accredited organization.
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) - issued by the state of California.
At least three (3) years of post MSW experience.
At least three (3) years working in an Acute Care Hospital and Health System as a medical social worker.
Experience working in both in an inpatient acute care hospital unit and outpatient specialty clinic setting.
Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a large multidisciplinary team.
Must have proven independent thinking, decision making, problem-solving and prioritizing skills.
Excellent skills to communicate and influence effectively with all levels of staff, physicians, patients, and external constituents, both verbally and in writing.
Excellent ability to multi-task with demanding schedules.
Pay Transparency Act
Annual Full Pay Range: $95,626 - $125,990 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)
Hourly Equivalent: $45.80 - $60.34
Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
