Job summary

Cameron Health in Angola, IN is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Social Worker to join Cameron Psychiatry. This full-time, day shift position is onsite with hybrid options and requires a Master’s degree and Indiana license.

You will provide medical direction and treatment within scope, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and ensure timely documentation in the EMR.

Qualifications

Job Title

Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Social Worker

SHIFT

80 Hours Bi-Weekly, Monday - Friday. This is an onsite/hybrid job.

BENEFITS

This is a full time, benefit eligible position.

Summary/Objective

Provides Medical direction and treatment of patients within the practitioner’s scope of practice and in collaboration with the supervising physician.

Essential Functions

• Exemplifies good customer service.
• Collaborates with Multidisciplinary team in office and hospital to assure continuity of patient care.
• Conducts a comprehensive assessment of patients, interprets medical histories, identifies problems, and formulates a plan of treatment per standard of care.
• Documents patient care services in the patient’s EMR and discharge instructions in a timely manner.
• Participates in process improvement.
• Attends and actively participates in hospital and clinic-based meetings.
• Carries out all duties in a manner consistent with Cameron’s guiding principles and values and according to Cameron’s policies and procedures.
• Adheres to the Medical Staff Bylaws, Rules & Regulations, as appropriate

Qualifications

Experience

• Two years’ experience in designated clinic preferred

Education Required

• Graduate of an accredited social worker program
• Master’s degree required

Licenses Requirements

• Current License in the State of Indiana
• Must be able to meet Cameron Hospital’s credentialing requirements
• Complete a CAQH and update annually as required

Certifications Required or Preferred

• Clinical certificate required
• BLS – Current or the ability to obtain in 1 month from the date of hire
