Salary: (Clinical Caseworker) Semi-Monthly: $1,593.82; Annual: $38,251.68
(LCSW) Semi-Monthly: $2,438.14; Annual: $58,515.36

Schedule: Days, with Saturday/Sunday off. Work Area: 3 West

About the Facility

St. Louis Forensic Treatment Center North provides specialized care for justice-involved individuals court-ordered for psychiatric care and treatment. The goal is to restore individuals to competence for legal proceedings. The setting is an acute psychiatric inpatient hospital with minimum security in a ward environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Social Service Assessments (Initial and/or Annual)
• Complete admission paperwork
• Provide individual and group treatment related to skills, therapy modalities, and competency restoration, with documentation
• Develop and review Individual Treatment/Rehabilitation Plans (ITRP)
• Write progress and summary notes monthly
• Offer case management to assigned clients
• Conduct suicide risk and other assessments as needed
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team
• Participate in discharge and legal processes (e.g., guardianship)
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Experience with clients diagnosed with mental illness, substance use disorders, or intellectual developmental disorders
• Knowledge of DSM, evidence-based practices, and social work best practices encouraged
• Degree or License in Social Work (MSW, LMSW, or LCSW) preferred; candidates nearing MSW completion considered
• Minimum qualifications for Clinical Caseworker, Sr. Clinical Caseworker, and LCSW available at this link
