Job summary

Loyal Source Government Services seeks a Licensed Clinical Social Worker to deliver comprehensive psychosocial assessments, counseling, and treatment services for individuals, families, and groups at a military treatment facility. You will work with interdisciplinary teams, develop treatment plans, and facilitate referrals to community resources to support patient well-being and recovery.

This role requires licensure as an LCSW, experience in clinical settings, and ability to provide counseling

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
• CSWE accreditation for the school/program is required.
• Experience in clinical social work, including practicum or post-MSW experience in a clinical/treatment setting within the last three years.
• Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as an LCSW.
• Active BLS (American Heart Association preferred).

Job Summary

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker will deliver comprehensive psychosocial assessments, counseling, and treatment services for individuals, families, and groups experiencing mental health, medical, or social challenges at a military treatment facility. The Licensed Clinical Social Worker will work with interdisciplinary teams, develop treatment plans, facilitate referrals to community resources, and provide consultation to support patient well-being and recovery.

Pay

$35.24/hour + $5.42 H&W

Duties

• Coordinate appropriate referrals to community and other Government agencies for services.


• Independently assess the psychosocial functioning and needs of patients and their family members and formulate and implement a treatment plan, identifying the patient’s problems, strengths, weaknesses, coping skills and assistance needed, in collaboration with the patient, family and interdisciplinary treatment team.


• Independently conduct psychosocial assessments and provide psychosocial treatment to a wide variety of individuals from various socio-economic, cultural, ethnic, educational and other diverse backgrounds.


• Use medical and mental health diagnoses, disabilities and treatment procedures. This includes acute, chronic and traumatic illnesses/injuries, common medications and their effects/side effects, and medical terminology.


• Implement treatment modalities in working with individuals, families and groups who are experiencing a variety of psychiatric, medical and social problems to achieve treatment goals.


• Independently provide counseling and/or psychotherapy services to individuals, groups, couples, and families. Must practice within the bounds of the license and the privileges granted by the MTF.


• Provide consultation services to other staff about the psychosocial needs of patients and impact of psychosocial problems on health care and compliance with treatment.


• Participate in professional peer review case conferences, research studies, or other organizations at the MTF.

Qualifications

• Degree: Masters degree in Social Work (MSW)


• Education: Graduate from an Accredited School of Social Work fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).


• Experience: Experience in clinical social work, either through a master’s-level practicum or 2 years post-MSW experience, within the last three years, in a clinical/treatment setting


• Licensure: Current, full, active and unrestricted license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker


• Must have an active BLS (AHA preferred)
