Middletown Medical is looking for a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) trained as a mental health professional who can provide therapy, counseling, and support services to individuals, families, and groups dealing with psychological, emotional, and social issues. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, developing treatment plans, and offering interventions to improve mental well-being and coping skills.
Salary Range: $30-40 per hour

Responsibilities
Assessment and Diagnosis
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health status, including psychological, emotional, and social factors.
- Utilize standardized assessment tools and clinical interviews to diagnose mental health disorders and issues.
Treatment Planning
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on the client's needs, strengths, and goals.
- Collaborate with patients to set achievable objectives and interventions.
- Modify treatment plans as needed based on ongoing assessment and progress.
Therapeutic Interventions
- Provide evidence-based psychotherapy and counseling using modalities such as CBT, DBT, psychodynamic therapy, etc.
- Offer crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies.
- Facilitate group therapy sessions to address common issues and promote peer support.
Case Management and Advocacy
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals, social service agencies, and community resources.
- Advocate for clients' needs and rights within various systems.
- Assist clients in accessing services, benefits, and support networks.
Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain accurate clinical records, including assessment notes, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Ensure compliance with confidentiality and record-keeping standards.
- Prepare reports as required by regulatory bodies or funding sources.
Professional Development and Collaboration
- Stay informed about developments in mental health and social work.
- Participate in supervision, training, and continuing education.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for coordinated care.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
- State licensure as an LCSW or equivalent.
- Experience providing therapy and counseling, preferably in mental health settings.
- Proficiency in assessments, treatment planning, and evidence-based interventions.
