Sun River Health provides comprehensive primary, preventative, and behavioral health services to all, regardless of insurance or ability to pay, especially serving underserved and vulnerable populations. It is a Federally Qualified, Non-Profit Health Center serving communities in Suffolk, Rockland, Orange, Dutchess, Ulster, Sullivan, Columbia, and Westchester County.

We are currently seeking a part-time Psychotherapist (LMSW, LMHC, or LCSW) to join our team at the Sutphin Health Center in Queens, NY.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing mental health services to patients with behavioral health conditions.
• Developing and formulating treatment plans in collaboration with psychiatrists.
• Working with a multidisciplinary team, including primary care providers.
• Supporting transition and coordination for mentally ill patients to appropriate care.
• Documenting patient encounters and maintaining case notes.
• Reviewing quality reports and completing program reports monthly.
• Participating in regional network meetings and serving as site liaison.
• Collaborating with medical and behavioral health teams and participating in case conferences and community meetings.
• Providing age-appropriate care based on patient needs.

Minimum requirements:

• Master’s Degree (MSW or MHC)
• New York State Licensure (LCSW, LMSW, or LMHC)
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience

Preferred skills: Bilingual in Spanish.

Job Type: Part-time

Hourly rate ranges based on licensure:

• LMHC: $35.56 - $37.78
• LMSW: $40.10 - $42.25
• LCSW: $47.79 - $50.25
