Job Summary
Atlanta Telehealth LLC is seeking a dedicated and qualified Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide mental health services to clients through a secure telehealth platform. The LCSW will work with individuals, couples, and families to address a wide range of mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. This role requires strong clinical skills, adherence to ethical practice, and comfort with providing care remotely.
- Part-Time: Minimum of 60 encounters per month
- Full-Time: Minimum of 120 encounters per month
Job Responsibilities
- Assessment & Diagnosis: Conduct thorough mental health assessments, including history taking, mental status examinations, and formulating differential diagnoses, if applicable.
- Treatment Planning: Develop and implement evidence-based, individualized treatment plans that address the specific needs of clients, with measurable goals.
- Therapeutic Services: Provide individual, family, and group therapy, using therapeutic techniques appropriate to each client’s diagnosis and personal goals.
- Documentation: Maintain timely, accurate, and comprehensive clinical documentation of each session, ensuring that client records are updated within 24 hours of a session.
- Timely Submission of Billable Records: Written notes from the prior Sunday through Saturday must be completed and routed by 11:59 pm central time each Monday.
- Crisis Intervention: Respond appropriately to clients in crisis situations, offering immediate support and coordinating additional services when necessary.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Clinical Director and other healthcare professionals as needed, attending scheduled team meetings and group supervisions.
- Client Follow-up: Ensure continuity of care by following up with clients, rescheduling missed sessions, and working to ensure consistent engagement with treatment.
- Compliance: Adhere to all federal and state regulations, including maintaining a HIPAA-compliant home office, and comply with Atlanta Telehealth LLC’s policies and procedures.
- Professional Development: Participate in continuing education programs to stay updated on best practices in tele therapy and mental health services.
Core Competencies
- Clinical Excellence: Demonstrated proficiency in providing evidence-based mental health treatment, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other modalities.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and build rapport with clients remotely.
- Adaptability: Ability to manage a flexible work schedule and work independently in a remote setting while maintaining high standards of care.
- Ethical Practice: Commitment to maintaining ethical standards in all aspects of clinical practice and client interaction.
Requirements:
- Valid License to provide clinical services issued by a state board (e.g., LMSW, LSW, LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PsyD, PsychNP, NP, MD or similar credentials).
- Individual NPI number (if you don't have, just indicate it in the Job Application).
- 3+ years of experience in therapy for adults.
- Desktop or Laptop computer with a reliable internet connection, a webcam, and antivirus software.
- Currently residing in the US.
