A Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) contributes to AHF by applying their mental health expertise to work with the diverse populations served in our medical centers. The LCSW collaborates with patients to improve their health and social outcomes.
The LCSW enhances AHF's reputation by being part of a multidisciplinary medical treatment team, providing comprehensive care. They help patients improve their quality of life through psychosocial assessments, treatment plans, and individual and group therapy, utilizing various counseling modalities to help achieve their goals, including medication and medical care compliance.
