Job summary

Reliable Health Care Services is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker to join the Crisis Response Team in Las Vegas, NV. The role involves responding to behavioral health-related 911 calls, performing field-based assessments, and coordinating care with EMS partners.

The position is embedded at a firehouse and requires ride-along with contracted EMS teams. This contracted role supports LVFR and related agencies, with a strong emphasis on crisis stabilization and linkage to community

Qualifications

• Active Nevada LCSW license in good standing.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Minimum two years of clinical experience post-licensure with crisis work.
• Experience in community clinics serving crisis populations.
• Familiarity with field environments and EMS collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Respond to behavioral/psychiatric 911 calls alongside EMS personnel.
• Conduct field-based psychosocial and clinical assessments.
• Develop and execute care and discharge plans.
• Provide crisis intervention, de-escalation, and stabilization.
• Coordinate with LVFR, LVMPD, case managers, and community programs.
• Participate in treatment planning and interdisciplinary meetings.
• Document clinical encounters in electronic medical records.
• Provide referrals and warm handoffs to community services.
• Assist with complex case needs as a senior clinical resource.

Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

Pay Rate: $55/hour
Location: Crisis Response Team – City of Las Vegas Fire & Rescue
Schedule: 12 hours day shifts; Thursday to Saturdaywith alternating Wednesdays
Reliable Health Care Services is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker to support the Crisis Response Team (CRT) at Las Vegas Fire & Rescue. This role responds to behavioral health-related 911 calls and provides field-based clinical assessment, stabilization, and linkage to care resources. Work is collaborative, fast-paced, and mission-driven.
This is a field-based role embedded with EMS partners. You'll be stationed at a firehouseand ride along with contracted EMS teams, delivering crisis support and assessments on the scene.
Note: This is a contracted role through Reliable Health Care and not a direct hire with the City of Las Vegas or Las Vegas Fire & Rescue.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to behavioral/psychiatric 911 calls alongside EMS personnel
• Conduct field-based psychosocial and clinical assessments

MinimumQualifications:

• Active Nevada LCSW or LISW license in good standing
• CPR/BLS certification
• Minimum twoyears of clinical experience post LCSW licensure and experience in community clinics with crisis work with serious mental illness or inpatient psych hospitals
• Familiarty with Nevada Legal Hold processes
• Ability to assess psychiatric and social needs in field environments
• Experience maintaining detailed electronic clinical documentation
• Ability to maintain extended time riding in emergency response vehicles
• Ability to frequently walk, stand and kneel in a community setting
